Well I tried using my Razors GPS on the water today and it worked. Never thought it would. Very cool. We hit 14 MPH. Now I know. We were flyin

That's a good use for my old Garmin. I'll give it a try. The phone did a nice job though. I could see all the waterways I've been wondering about too.

What app were you using? I use gps essentials on my DROID and love it. Its nice seeing where you are especially when your not familiar with the area. And with gps essentials you can tag spots on the map so you don't loose your way to the cabin or the dock.

I was just using "maps" from google.
I just downloaded the gps essentials app and will give it a try tomorrow. Thanks for the tip. Way points will be a nice addition.
