Hi,
on the weekend I experienced a sudden loss of rev's, from about 5600 to 4800. I commented to my brother that it was almost as if I has lost a cylinder. When we got home a closer inspection revealed a small black box about 1.5 X . 1.0" that was connected to the plug and was earthed to the motor. The mounting scew had rattled loose and it had lost the earth. I have no doubt that this was the problem. Is this box similar to the old condensor we used to have on distributors to quench the spark?
On my control panel I have what appears to be an oil level indicator. It has a empty red circle on the left and a full green circle on the right. I kept getting an audible warning signal that I was low on oil but could visually see that there was oil in the tank, about 1/5th full. Any ideas, it seems to be more prevalent when the ride is more bouncy?
