125 force wont turn off with key

my boat isnt turnig off with the key. i dont know why, i have the wires hooked up right in the switch, well thought so any way. does anyone have wiring diagram for a 1989 125 force. tired of choking the motor to kill it.

Sounds like your key switch is either bad or wired incorretly. Did you recently change it or rewire for some reason?

At the switch, Blue wire to one "M" terminal, White wire to the other "M" terminal. At the engine terminal board, be certain to jump Blue wire to ground.

If you have a VOM or test light, test for continuity between the two "M" terminals with the switch off.

check your fuse under dash.
