125 force cant find serial & model numbers.

I have a Outboard 125 force on a 86 bayliner serial n model are faded and i dont see any other numbers other than various part numbers 🤦
I am having the same issue just bought a boat with the 125 on it and need to replace coils and possibly cdi but can’t find serial number any help is greatful

Very rare that all 4 coils go bad.
In fact since 1986 I have seen only 1 coil that was bad.
The 125 , Blue paint used the same pack and coils. as the 120
from 1987 to 1993
Standard ignition has cheaper prices.
outboardignitiondotcom has test procedures.

The serial number on my engine has rubbed off the label. But I checked the title for the boat, and it has the motor's serial number on it (with one typo). I know the history of the boat from new, so I'm fairly confident it is right.
