Where's the flotation? Might need it someday and when you do, you do!

Don't recognize the brand.

Can't help with brand either but it looks as if someone took the center bench seat out if it which could weaken it.

Cool little boat. Sure you can use it on a small-med river. Although, some emergency flotation would be nice. You can use the pink/blue closed-cell insulation foam board from lowes/HD cut it to fit and place it between the ribs, then add a deck on top made from 1/2"-3/4" non-Pressure treated exterior grade plywood, sealed with either epoxy, fiberglass mat & resin, or Spar Urethane, and atached to the hull with stainless steel sheet metal screws. I think it would make a sweet little poling skiff, but y'all probably don't do much of that up there. I say add a deck with some flotation and use a cooler for and aft for seats and hit the water. A 15 hp will move her along nicely.

Ok thanks for all the advice I just got the boat yesterday so I'm gunna take it to a local pond to make sure it doesnt leak or anything and then maybe put the plywood floor in with insulation underneath.

with insulation underneath.
.......Closed cell flotation material. White Styrofoam comes in sheets and you can place them under the plywood and being closed cell they don't absorb water......Styrofoam, like the white coffee cups you get at a quick-stop gas station. I remember a place here around Dallas that made the stuff and cut it with hot wires. Could make you any kind of sheet/bat you wanted.

For it to be functional you need to have it anchored to the boat so you need to secure your floor to hold it in place. Otherwise when you need it the boat will sink, it will float away and you'd be left holding the bag as the saying goes.
