He guys and gals! I'm building a 12 ft mop v tunnel hull with a 25 horse merc. I have installed a power trim pump to the motor, and have an SS 18 inch Merc racing prop. Testing the hull with the stock aluminum prop and no trim installed, the boat did 37 miles an hour with two 2 hundred pound guys in it!<br /><br />Anyways, is there anyone here with experience building and rigging small boats to go fast? My boat tracked very straight and just started to get loose with one person at full throttle, neutral trim. Any suggestions on the ss prop, engine hieght etc?<br /><br />100 miles an hour... hair straight back!
