hello, i was just wondering, i plan on having my 86 115 outboard serviced this winter. im guessin a tune up and maybe carb rebiuld if needed or cleaned and so on. i have no idea what to expect as this is the first boat iv owned. anybody have an idea of what a typical service like this would be worth so i can know what to expect. i am lookin to basicly have the engine overhauld and ready for next season. thanks in advance kenny

Tune up VS overhaul is a big $$$ difference. <br /><br />Ist rule is don't fix what ain't broke. If timing and fuel system is good and is set up correctly, then a good de-carb with "Mercury Power Tune" is really all that can be done without ripping it all down.<br /><br />-W
