I have a 115 turbojet on a 18 foot jetcraft river boat.The boat will go at high speeds with very little weight in it but when I put say four people in the boat it cavitates out at half throttle. The guy I bought it from told me he had five guys in it before and went up and down shallow rivers.He also said he had the motor beefed up to a 140hp. Is this possible? I checked the stainless steel impeller and it looked like it was still brand new. Can you fit this motor with a bigger pump. Would putting the 90hp impeller in it help with running under load.
