In the process of reinstalling the lower unit on this engine i managed to break one of the small hose nipples on the fuel pump housing and cannot find this part on any of the marine parts sites that i know of. if anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated

Re: 115 johnson Fuel Pump

Is this a VRO pump or standard fuel pump? A year or model number would also be useful.

model # J115TLCNB

Serial # J5695266

1982 johnson sea horse 115

being a 1982 i would think it is a standard fuel pump w/ electric choke

Yep, standard pump. The nipple that broke is part of the middle body of the pump. Don't recall this piece being available as a separate part, but, check at a local dealership. They may have one laying around. I got a few in my fuel pump junk drawer. Either that or look around for a complete pump.....the new part number is 438556. New, the pump costs around $63 from Bomby.
