A friend of mine just recently bought a boat with a 1989 Johnson 110 or 120, can't remember. He says that it will plane out and run like a champ as soon as he puts it in the water but after he stops and fishes for a while it will not hardly plane out or run more than 2500-3000 rpm's. He said that it will sputter a little and then go from 2500 to 5000 or so and run great again for a little while. I told him to check his carbs anyone else have any other suggestions?
