100hp lower end replacement

I have a 1989 4 cylinder 100 hp that needs a rebuild, I am considering purchasing an already rebuilt unit. With all the different models out there how do I know that I am purchasing the right unit for a bolt on replacement?

Any reputable firm, offering rebuilt Units would know what fits what. Have you spoke with them?

Replacement Gearcase? See if SEI makes one for your model. They would be brand new, at a good price.
