The console on my Sea Ray no longer has power. It appears that I still have power to the rest of the boat. Even the starter still works but since there is no power to the console the boat will not start. I have checked all of the fuses. Any ideas on where else to look?

Hello and welcome to iBoats....

We need to know what we are working on; engine make, model, year, serial number.... We know it's in a boat, which boat is completely irreverent...

if the starter works thru the ign switch then you have power from the main system . panel power comes from the "ign" post of the switch. Check under the dash for an ign fuse on the purple wire coming from the switch.

There is no purple wire coming from the switch. There is a red and white wire coming from the switch and it has power. The fuse panel has a fuse for the ignition and the fuse is good. There is power at the fuse.

Hi there, Try following the pictures in the first link to see if you have the hidden 15 amp fuse. It's a 50/50 if you have it or not, if so, it could be your problem here.

If not, I seem to recall that some of the sea ray model boats (Not all) where setting up their ignition power system a little bit different then the standard way of doing it, so yours may be a bit more difficult to walk you through it then usual to where, if you can't seem to find anything obvious, you may need to seek advice from a "sea ray" technician that knows the ignition system well.

Or another option if needed could be that "I believe" there may be some "sea ray" manuals over on club sea ray that offers some "sea ray boat" service manuals with wiring diagrams.

Download manuals and information for your boat

Hope this helps, good luck.:)

The ign switch should have 3 connetions. B=battery, red, I=ignition,,purple, S= solenoid, yellow or yellow with red stripe.
If not post some pics or someone did some very creative additions.

I actually found 3 hidden fuses in the engine compartment. They were all together and each was 20 amps. Unfortunately, all of them were good, so I still haven't found the source of my problem.
