Chad, any update on how you like the spitfire prop ?
WOW, I can't believe its been 2 years since I started this post... Time flys!
Anyway, sorry I didn't respond sooner, I never received an email notifying me of a reply to my post..
I am still using the Nemesis/Spitfire 15x4 prop... It does help the boat to get on plane, it does work better for pulling a tube, I did have the motor lowered back down 1 hole on the transom, but I still can't make real tight turns or I get prop slip..
It's MUCH better, but it may be as good as its going to get for a 4-stroke outboard....
If I had it to do all over, I would have gone with the OptiMax...
My only complaint with the Nemesis/Spitfire is that the blades get dinged up really easy, obviously that an Aluminum prop issue not really the Nemesis/Spitfire problem..
My SS Vengence props doesn't have a mark on it and I know I've hit ground with it....
The Nemesis/Spitfire however has several dings on the blade tips and 1 of the tips is bent slightly...
