O.K.....she made it all 4th of July all morning yesterday, I fired her up in the afternoon on the shore station waiting for my wife to come down, everything is fine, she jumps down in the bow floor with a thud......the boat beeped twice and shut down......fired right back up and seemed ok after about 15 mins it accelerated up from idle, when the nose came up.....two beeps and she shut down......I had my electrical cleaner with me, I pulled sensor to oil preassure switch.....sparayed the s$%# out of it, plugged it back in and same thing after a few mins. I sprayed safety shut off, stern drive sensor plugs and it still did it randomly......I then sprayed the Idle air control switch....witch I just replaced 2 weeks ago and it ran the rest of the day......yes, I know take it out and get it scanned.......every marina.....just drop it off and we'll get it in when we can......really? Plus now it me against it and I want to win! LOL

Sorry about the delay.....scanned at the shop, and it had multiple neutral safety switch codes....they replaced the harness 31.00 and charged me an hour labor.....total 126 bucks. Put her back in and it seemed fine. I would get a random hesitation but no shut down or beep all day Friday. I took her out Sunday and after about 30 mins. Of driving I hit a decent size wake off off a surfer and bang....2 beeps and she shut down.....then the beeps came back about every 4-5 mins. I pulled in the cove and opened the stern drive resivoir and fluid poured out the cap. I wiped everything down and took a screwdriver and banged it around inside the bottle thinking maybe it's the float since that is really the only float that goes to a sensor. It stopped for a while then did it again. It repeated the process and it overflowed again. The bottle seemed to have preassure to it. I dropped the legal to just below the safe line banged the screwdriver around again and didn't screw cap completely down. I was at my dock so I added a can of sea foam just in case it was a fuel system issue. I parked the boat and daughter took it out all day yesterday, boarding and tubing......not a beep! Could that bottle have been preassureized and the float was sticking in the bottle? That would make sense......
