I have a pair of '04 Evinrude DI 200's. The starboard one will start right up cold but the RPM "bounces" up and down a bit for a few seconds, not a rough idle just kind of goes up and down, for maybe like 20-30 seconds then it evens out and purrs, giving it a slight bit of throttle helps it as well.
The port motor will fire up and run smooth when cold, no "bouncing".
I just got these so I'm nto too familiar with the DI system yet but is that just a normal characteristic of the DI's or is it a sign of something needing to be cleaned or something else about to happen? Or possibly just an idle speed adjustment, if there is one on these?
Thanks.
