'01 1800lsr

Hello all. I will be going to look at an '01 regal 1800LSR tomorrow and have a few questions. The boat looks really clean and the price is right. I was looking for your opinions on this model/year (good or bad). The boat has a Penta 3.0l and is listed as having 190HP. I think this is incorrect and is more like 135HP, is that correct? Also wondering what RPM and speed to expect at WOT. I am aware this is dependant on the prop but in general waht sould I be looking for. Anything else you can add/recomend would be greatly appriciated. As always thanks for the help. THis site has been so very helpfull thus far.

190 HP is the 4.3 liter V6, carb engine. With that, it'll do about 55 MPH at 4800 RPM if propped right.

If it has the 3.0 135 HP engine expect 45 MPH at 4800 RPM.

OK, got it. Thanks for the reply. I went to see the boat on Sat and it looks flawless. Super clean, in and out. Hope to wet test this week sometime. If all goes well I hope to be a Regal boat owner in the coming weeks. This being my first boat I must say it can be a little scary, overwhelming at times. Thanks again.
