A local guy has an Alpha one lower unit for sale...price is $200. He says it's in good condition with only a little normal scuffing on the skeg.
He didn't state whether or not it's from a "Gen 1 or Gen 2"...
I know the upper units are different, are the lower units interchangeable, and is there any way to check to see(short of pulling it apart)if it is indeed "good"?
Is $200 a decent price. I would plan on replacing the impeller, painting it and keeping it as a spare.
