1970 merc 110, starts fine seems to idle okay and runs well up to 1/2 speed. When trying to go over 1/2 throttle the engine starts to hesitate until backed off. Feals like an ignition break down. Any way to test the coils? Thanks.
do a search...i've read somwhere... usually clean the carb 'cause the main jet might be clogged.... if not, some guy changed the stator and trigger and if worked for him... try on yours... good luck...
