    Rear engine mount bolts

    Mercruiser 120 1983 153 cid When I removed the engine there were two double sprung washers under each bolt. When I reinstalled the engine and replaced the two spring washers the engine sits high an does not touch the fiber washer. Should there be two washers under each side?

    mercruiser alpha 1 steering torque

    Mercruiser alpha 1 120 HP. Can you tell me which way the motor is torquing the boat looking at the back of the transom. i had the boat out and forgot which way the motor torque.     testing fuel gauge or sender

    My fuel gauge is not reading although I have at least 1/2 tank of gas. When I turn the key on gauge moves slightly. I grounded the wires to the gauge and the gauge reads full. How can I test the sender? Thanks
