    I have a mid80s Johnson 40hp VRO with trim assist on it. I want to change to power trim. Is there a system that will match my motor or do I have to go to after market Trim? Thanks Dean

    Still trying to figure out what year my motor is. 40 HP VRO serial # c8239695 Not sure of what mod. It is electric start with hydralic trim assist Ant ideas where I can find out?

    40 HP Johnson

    I have a 1980something 40 VRO it was running great then i turned off the key and now nothing. The key seems to have no power to it. I checked the fuse it looks fine. What else can I check for this problem?

    How can you tell the year of motor. Can not find any tags. Also is there a fuse or breaker for ignition. My motor started and ran fine the I shut it off and now the key does nothing. any hlep would be great.
