    Old steel OMC gas tanks

Has anyone found a source for the o-rings, quad-rings and the welch plugs that doesn't cost 6 bucks for each one? If so, you happen to have the dimensions of said parts? Nobody seems to have that welch plug in the right thickness... except on ebay for 6 bucks a pop! ... Thanks.

    5200 question...

I installed a drain plug into my little aluminum boat using 5200 to bed the plug, etc. Now I find that its NOT UV rated? It will be constantly exposed to the sunlight being a simple row boat. So, do you think I should remove it and do it over? ... I may be able to find some dynamite or...

    Air tool recommendations...

Thanks for the reply. The only guns I see at HF are for blind rivets. They do have air hammers but I thought that was a different animal, no? Would this do the job? https://www.harborfreight.com/professional-medium-barrel-air-hammer-56990.html

Now, I admit that I know nothing about this so I didn't debate the point with...

    Replacing Transom on aluminum boat...

I just mean the transom boards rock back and forth slight due to the uneven surface created by rivets/seams, etc..

    Replacing Transom on aluminum boat...

Sandwiching 2 pieces of wood between the aluminum that has rivets and seams results in the wood not sitting flush and allows rocking motion. Would I be ok putting in some nylon spacers where the bolts go to create a small gap thereby creating a space between the wood and the aluminum? Only...

    Old MK Rip Tide

I got an old MK Rip Tide that has been sitting for at least 10 years. Seems to run fine except it doesn't start spinning the prop until I turn it to about 15lbs on the handle dial...any ideas? This is a transom mount from the mid 2000's or so. Thanks.
