1986 Four Winns Horizon 190, Carb Linkage?

Did a lake test yesterday: Carb is functioning properly it appears when it comes to the secondary air valves, the choke and the bottom side throttle plates as well.

1986 Four Winns Horizon 190, Carb Linkage?

I understand that, the plates on the top do not move at all, not even under vacuum though.

    I believe it’s a 4 barrel carb.

1986 Four Winns Horizon 190, Carb Linkage?

Good compression, Its not a prop issue(previous owner has videos of it doing 45mph last summer with this prop) I don't know how to find/get the drive ratio.

1986 Four Winns Horizon 190, Carb Linkage?

I recently acquired this 1986 Four Winns Horizon 190 with a Mercruiser 230 V8 in it. The motor runs and sounds good at idle but it feels underpowered, only goes up to 3,000 rpms and 30mph at WOT under load. I noticed the throttle plates/butterflies don't open at all when I move the throttle. I...

No Spark, feels like I’ve tried everything.

I had it timed to the exhaust stroke, redid the timing and that stopped the backfiring issue in that video.

Thank you everyone for all the help! The boat is correctly timed and running great and revving even better! For those who may see this forum in the future: I stored my boat over the winter and the distributor went bad, I then got a new distributor and installed it and the new distributor EST...

WE HAVE SPARK! Old EST Module saved the day! Now I have this issue: Any insight before I start digging into this?

No Spark, feels like I’ve tried everything.

UPDATE: Spark was achieved on the bench test with the old Ignition Module, new cap/rotor/etc and new coil/spark plug wire. I have a tee time I have to get to but after I am done on the course I will be retiming the motor and reinstalling the distributor and coil and hoping for spark.

No Spark, feels like I’ve tried everything.

After messing around with the wiring and undoing some electrical tape and such I know have a reading a 1.3 ohms from main cable to primary side of coil which is still a little high I believe.

Crossposted* From the main battery cable to the Purple wire just before entering the coil I have a 29.4 Kiloohm resistance reading... Also I have a steady 10v reading while cranking on that purple wire when everything is hooked up normally. When directly jumped to the battery I only get an 11v...

Replying to multiple people with this message: 1: I did verify all ground connections were good nola mike 2: Even if the starter was failing it would supply atleast some spark to be detected right?(no spark at all and motor turns over properly) cyclops222 3: I jumped from the battery to the...

No Spark, feels like I’ve tried everything.

Just cleaned every single connection in the ignition system from battery-starter-starter solenoid-coil-distributor Also replaced the battery terminals with fresh ones and cut the ends off the wires to get a fresh connection. No luck on getting spark. Why does it feel like its probably...

Praying this gives you some insight into helping me find a solution. While cranking the 12-14v drops down to 10v and 5v. Going back and forth on a consistent interval between 10v and 5v. Can take a video if necessary.
