I want to get it usable. Is the OMC 800 worth the effort? I have another boat with a small block chevy and a mercruiser alpha outdrive that i could use. But then i would have modify the transom.
It is a small block chevy. I paid $600 for it. And it is also OMC 800. I am located in California. I'll look for some ID on the valve covers this weekend.
I just got this boat and i am look for any information that someone might have. The title says its a 1982 beachcraft. I will try and post some pictures. I think it's a 24ft cabin cruiser/fishing boat.
