    No power to ignition

    No power at the ignition red inlet wire and also no power at the ignition breaker. Is the red plug the reset located back of the carburetor on top of the engine, if so I have no power on the inlet side of that as well

    No power to ignition

    My 5.0 Bayliner 245sb has no power to the ignition or the incoming wire to the ignition breaker below the steering wheel. Also no power to the engine gauges. Have good voltage at the battery isolator select switch outlet side.

    Yes 12 v to 50 amp red button reset and also the slave solenoid

    The 50 amp push button reset on the engine and the 90 amp fuse on the starter as well as the ground cable checked out OK, thanks How do I reset either of the safety shutdowns( the neutral safety switch and the temperature switch. Thanks Greg

    5.0 not starting

    My 5.0 mercruiser overheated and shutdown when the hose from the stern drive came off. Hose was replaced but unable to start the engine due to no power at the engine gauges. Engine will turn by hand but no power to the ignition switch
