1991 pcm nautique not able to crank after major flooding from carb

I would assume new clamps with the new battery cables, plus this happened after the flooding issue apparently . I'll ask the guy though

Yeah I wonder if that's the issue. Seems to spin quick the first time though then slows down....

1991 pcm nautique not able to crank after major flooding from carb

The cables, starter and battery were all replaced and it's still doing it... I think there is more to the story. Unfortunately the guy is hours away or I'd go and do a compression check and dig into it. I thought maybe someone had come across something similar and it could be am easy solution

1991 pcm nautique not able to crank after major flooding from carb

Yeah I was wondering if it had taken on some water, they probably installed it themselves and maybe did something wrong. Still weird how it cranks without the plugs but doesn't with them in... that would usually mean a bad starter or a cable issue. The thing is, the cables starter ignition...

1991 pcm nautique not able to crank after major flooding from carb

The problem is I'm considering buying it but it's in a different town. By flooding I meant with fuel. The previous starter did the same thing after the flooding issue and then he replaced it with a new one along with all other ignition components. It's a brand new crate motor with 5 hours on...

Sea ray top clips that attach to the windshield frame

I'm looking for the unbroken piece that attaches to the windshield frame. I've already sourced out the broken pieces that fit into that H piece.

Sea ray top clips that attach to the windshield frame

The other one is missing. Anyone know where I can find this piece? The local marine store didn't have anything remotely close. Or is there another style that I can make work? The top is like brand new. Just the clips broke and the previous owner lost the window frame attachment.

New deck, 700 watt amp and a 10" sub: Battery question

Yessir it's the stock alternator. I won't be having it up very loud I just like to have some bottom end in the music. It's just to back up the old stock 2 speaker system. The deck powers the 2 speakers and the amp is powering the sub

New deck, 700 watt amp and a 10" sub: Battery question

peak. I won't be cranking it either, at least for long periods. I'm on a small lake and I like music but not everyone will want to hear it all day long and I respect that.

New deck, 700 watt amp and a 10" sub: Battery question

I have a 95 sea ray 180 sig with a 4.3lx with 363 hours. I just wired in a deck, 700 watt amp (old so probably more like 350 max) and a 10" clarion sub. My question is, if I'm only running it while the motor is running, am I good with one battery?

    prop question

I don't have a shop tach but the tach in the boat showed 4800 at WOT. It performed well and got on a plane really quick. I'm happy with it.

    prop question

Yeah it was the original merc prop that came with the boat (boat has 363 hours on it ) and yes it had the pitch on it. They don't make it anymore. 48 78122 A40 21P. Verified multiple ways. It was a 13.75 x 21P prop.

    prop question

I just cross referenced my stock prop, they don't have it as a 13.75x21p anymore. It cross referenced to a 14.5x19p black max so I picked that up with a flo torq II hub kit. Taking it out this morning for a sea trial with a full tank of gas. Taking one buddy out with me.

    prop question

I just talked to a prop guy at another big shop, says they don't do press in's anymore. My part number cross references to a 14.25x21p prop when the original was a 13.75 x 21p... Says a 12.75 x 20p high five would be good for towing and that a 13 7/8 x 21p stainless would work as well.... There...
