    Guys, need help here. Motor is 1973 Mercury 20HP. the top cylinder is not firing. switched wires of the two coils and the bottom would not fire. so I believe the coils are OK, the plug wires are OK.     Thanks for your valued input. Yes, mine is single water cooled 40A VR which is a bad design. Merc changed it to a dual VRs in later motors. The MOSFET R/R I was looking has a capacity of 50Amp so I think I should be ok.
