    Ok. Thank you. Do you think giving the fact the prop shaft turns freely in neutral and then turns same as motor when in forward or reverse it could be there? The metal to metal seems to be in motor and around mid to lower cylinder 1 Thanks!!

    Actually we know the person who had it very (long time friend of my dads ). The motor really had NO death rattle and sounded amazingly good. When it stopped there was NOTHING before or during the process. It just quickly stopped with no noise. Thanks so much.
