    I'll have to look. Propably have to take some stuff apart. CDI box doesnt have any numbers on the outside where I can see. Also, I forgot to mention that I don't have the top cowl either. Previous owner stated it does run. If nothing else, I'll part it out or look for another of the same model...

    I just obtained a 4-stroke electric start outboard. I'd plate is painted over or missing. The only numbers on the motor is on the silver round plug on the left side of the motor which is 23 023580. Also 3580 is stamped into the 2 halves of the block on the left side.     Quick question though. Is this a digital tach, or analog, not refering to the analog dial? I do know on my 2022 F70LA the tach signal will not run an induction pick-up hour meter. I had to connect to the spark plug lead.

    Can't see it on the motor, not sure yet where to look. At the tach, I have a green, blue, yellow, and black. Not sure which tach I have, it does not appear to be Yamaha (p/n 780488PDNB)

    I am incorrect. I was adding an hour meter to my boat today, and the tach signal is green, not gray. Trying to find wiring diagram for my 2022 F70AL. Newest I see is 2017.
