    1986 6 hp evinrude no top end

    got the motor to idle and runs pretty good. but thee seems to be no top end. doesn't wind up like the 9.9 i also have. plugs are properly gapped. any ideas?<br /><br />thanks

    bought a 6hp evinrude. the book says to mix at 100:1. i'd think that would be to lean. couldn't ask the former owner what he used (deceased}. what's the correct mixture?

    what is the setting for the mixture screw of my 1985 6hp.

    1995 50 hp oil injection filling carbs

    got a 1995 50 hp that during the winter the carbs fill with oil and the motor will not start with out draining the float bowls.<br />what causes this?<br />how do i prevent this?
