Well, after replacing the Impellor, It ran fine, and didn't overheat, but was leaking from the weep hole. I have new seals and gaskets, but the cam shaft appears fine. So far as I can tell, head gasket didn't blow.
Over the winter, I had the boat serviced and the Water Pump was replaced. First few outings on the lake were fine. Last weekend I broke down on the water after stalling at idle and then over heating. I took apart the lower unit, replaced the Impellor that had broken fins. Everything seemed fine...
I bought this boat but don't know a lot about it. I noticed a fluid reservoir in the back compartment that says Automatic Trans Fluid only. Can anybody tell me what it is? How to fill it? and what it controls please?
