    Johnson TN27 1951 5 HP Speed lever too hard to move

    Why is my speed lever so tight? I tried adding some grease to the bottom of armature plate and the matting surface on power head but no improvement. Should I have a spring washer between armature plate?

    How to remove brass cylinder in primer on Johnson TN27 1951 5 HP

    I see that Johnson recommends using 1/2-13 tap to tap into the cylinder to remove it. Has anyone used this method? I would think this would scar the inside of the cylinder. I have tried using wire hooks and heating the wall without any success.Comments!

    How to replace 1951 Johnson TN 27 5HP impeller

    I would also like to replace my impeller on my Johnson TN27 1951 5 HP. Does anyone know where I can find a video on this procedure or instructions?
