Same problem, 2005 Optimax 175. The problem started around 500 hours. First noticed while under hard acceleration after a 10 minute idle. No alarm just dies. Has anyone ever solved thisone?
Has anyone ever figured this out? I had the same issue for two seasons. I have noted so many similar complaints but not one solution... I'm about to give up and repower with a Suzuki.
Is there a diagnostic connector behind the instrument panel on a Trophy. Merc Opti? Found a purple female connector but don't have any info on what it is.
