    Stiff fast Idle lever

    The lever on the Mercury 2008 remote control that give a fast idle does not completely rise and dont engage higher RPM.     Remove flywell to acces carburator

    My Mercury 2008, 15hp, 4 strokes seems to be made by TOHATSU. Is it normal that, to be able to remove the carburator, my mecanic had to remove the flyweel. I have notice that the bolt, holding the carb, near the engine is difficult to reach but there must be a easier way to do this routine...
