    Re: 1971 Glastron v-142 Underside of Hull Damage... Ok we moved the winch part up about 14" and that seemed to do the trick! As for the damage I scraped away some of the silicone and there seems to be some hardened epoxy like substance under it. I've attached picture. Any thoughts?

    1968 Evinrude 40HP Outboard Model: 40873C Gas/Oil Ratio?

    My husband and I just got our first boat and we don't know what the oil to gas ratio is for the motor. We are taking it out today so any help would be appreciated. Also, do you put the oil in the gas can first and then the gas and then pour it in? Thanks
