    1996 Evinrude 25 hp noise

    I just purchased a 96 25 hp evinrude which came with a boat I purchased up in Minnesota and brought it down to Oklahoma. To me it has a louder than usual lifter noise. Any thoughts as to what it is and what I should do to either reduce or eliminate the noise? Thanx Jeff :confused:

    There is a 96 lund boat with a 96 evinrude and a 2007 trailer for sale. How do I figure out what this is worth...Didn't have much luck with Nada. Jeff:facepalm:

    Boat and motor options

    I am purchasing a 1977 lund S16. My 2 options for motors are a 1977 Johnson 25 or a 1983 mercury 25. Which would you choose and why? I prefer the black color against the red better and I do like that its newer. But...?

    do any of you have a lund rebel with a 25 hp motor on it and are you happy with it and the power to weight ratio?:)
