I replaced control cables on a '87 force 85 hp. Old ones were frayed. New ones fit correctly and the shifter and throttle work smoothly. In the neutral position (lever pulled out to disengage shifter, it will move a small amount and I can't see the throttle linkage move to open the carbs...
