    Running full throttle at ignition

    86 evinrude v4 110 hp Stalling at idle. Push the primer button engine runs and sticks at full throttle. Could my carb butterfly's be sticking open would anything else cause the full throttle? I pulled the carbs for a rebuild. Thanks for any help you can give me!

    This sound like a carb problem

    I have a 1986 110 hp evinrude v4. Won't idle but if you add gas either with the fast idle lever or selonoid button the engine goes up to 5000 rpm. Full throttle. Got it to run at idle afterwards but rough and dies after about 30 seconds.

    Picked up on a trade a 70 Starcraft with a 86 110 hp v4 engine. Went for a second test run today.
