Everything seemed fine with this engine and it ran strong. Two hours into my trip propeller seemed to only engage up to about 2800 rpm. When the throttle was pushed harder the rpm's would go up but the boat would not move any faster. Seemed like it was "slipping" and not engaging. Made it back...
