    Mercruiser 898 trim pump issue

    So I have a 79 Apollo with 305 mercruiser 898. The trim pump is actuating and running the drive down add soon as the key is turned on. When the drive hits the maximum that it can go down the pump continues to run trying to push the drive down father. .. Any ideas?

    Tilt gear OMC 800

    I have heard that with the OMC 800 Stringer outdrives, the best thing to do is pack the tilt clutch box full of grease. Is this true? If so what is the best way of going about doing this? Any help would be appreciated!
