    Navigation Lights

I am familiar with the USCG requirements for the red and green navigation lights on the bow of a vessel. But, I had a slight disagreement with an individual who states for purposes of night vision, it is okay to surround a pontoon boat with red lights. Seems to me this could create a hazard...

    Console

On December 16th of last year, I posted a thread with the above title. Received 13 responses, none which particularlly helped me. I got out pen and paper, drew my own console and constructed it. Had it upholstered and all gauges I was wanting put in. I think it turned out pretty good, but...

I have just finished reading all the posts on the 69 pages (2056 posts) and am really appalled at the number of members who ask a question, get response, and never come back to say it worked or to even offer thanks. I particularly disliked those posts that just left everthing up in the air...

    Outboard motor tools

Just for your information, you may check with some of your local auto parts store to see if they "rent" things like spark plug testers, compression testers, torque wrenches, etc. Many times you will find you local O'Riely's, Auto Zone, Napa will rent the tool... actually they process the price...

    Console

I have spent several hours browsing the web for some woodworking plans on center consoles. It is a shame there is so much commercial advertisements a person can't find what they want. Does anyone have any suggestions?
