The iboats forum moderators are excited to announce that at this time it appears the iboats forums posting pictures function is working once again. Though we cannot promise for how long, we're hoping for indefinitely.
Re: Fuel ans Battery location
Something to ponder .... (personally thought about doing this), putting the fuel tank underneath the deck. If you found a flat enough tank, this would be good. All depends on how much clearance you have from the waterline .....
I've got a Sundancer 240D that I'm rebuilding. I've got the new carpet ready to lay down, then put the rails back on. I've seen on several sites where they sell these rail risers, and I kinda like the idea of it. They raise the rails about 3/8 to half an inch off the deck. Would make it much...
Found a couple of websites offering some good prices on carpet. One even offer free shipping. Now I'm down to 20 oz vs. 28 oz. It's not about cost, as there's not much difference (maybe $100). My concern, would the 28 oz be TOO soft / plush. I want some good carpet on there, but not too...
Not sure if I've bit off more that I can chew .... I've got it down to the bare deck. All the seats were totally rotten. My biggest dilema is, do I try to build the seats myself, or do I just buy them. Wife is just telling me to buy them, but the dang seats will cost me an arm and two legs!
