    Anyone know where I can get an OEM Manual for 1989 80HP 3 Cyl Mercury Outboard. I'm trying to perform a Timing and Synchronization with a SELOC manual and getting quite frustrated.:mad: Or if someone can walk me through it.. even better. Thanks in advance.

    Repair Manual with CONFLICTING Info

    I have a 1989, 80HP 3 Cyl. with a .066 main jet installed My Seloc manual lists 2 DIFFERENT Main Carb Jets an '89 3cyl 80HP at sea level. One chart says .064 the other .072. My Serial is 0B166907. Considering I have problems getting out of the hole.... I would guess I should have the .074...

    80HP (3 Cyl) Dies when throttle gunned - NO Hole shot

    1989 80HP 3 CYL. Rebuilt Carbs, good compression, new, Carb Synchronization good. Starts ok, Idles well, runs great at WOT. When trying to pull a skier out of the water - or just an aggressive hole shot - the engine just dies. If you advance the trottle slowly everything works fine...
