just replaced the high pressure fuel pump and engine starts right up but when i put it in gear and advance the throttle then bring it back into idle the engine rpms wont drop down and stays at very high rpms.
has anyone else experienced this and what could it be?

engine ran fine last year drained and stored it.
just pulled it out put gas in it and wont start, changed the plugs and fuel pump still wont start .
primed the fuel system still nothing, pulled the new plugs no fuel .
any suggestions on which way to go ?
