    1988 Mercruiser 3.0L intermittently clicks and won't turn over

    My 1988 Mercruiser 3.0L intermittently clicks and won't turn over when I try to start the engine. After turning the key several times it will usually start. I have replaced the battery, and the starter motor. I have also checked and cleaned connections. Any ideas?
