The Calco valve body"s are known for internal leaking a new valve body usually work if piston seals are good
I have refitted these old units with new pumps and motor rebuilt cylinder and new bushings and lift pins almost all is modified to obtain available parts

You get a new pump and motor both cylinders rebuilt all new bushings new lift plate bolts new hydraulic lines

If you have a 2 wire motor this is your basic diagram
If it is a 3 wire use this the red wire is green for tilt green is down for grass and blue up for sky

Looking for a photo of a tilt trim setup on a 1976 55 HP evinrude need to see how it is mounted to motor and transom This a dual piston model.

Changed the water pump assembly and have a Grommet with a notch and o ring left
Diagram shows o ring goes on top of gromet but what is grommet for or where does it go
