    To start new points condenser tryed diff. coil checked all in line fuses and checked wires it seems the connections r all good !

    went out on water saterday boat ran awsome ..... tonite i was hooking up stereo and accidently arced hot and neg 2gether nutten serious just a quick pop got all done n went to fire the boat up and wouldnt start ...... theres no spark at all now ..tryed different coil checked points and nothing...

    Under the carb gaskets there looks to be a restricter plate ...... My ? is it and if is will it hurt to take it off

    2.3 volvo penta

    my 2.3 volvo bogs or hesitates when accellerated quikly. it takes a few for it to catch up . when accelerated at a slower pace it does same just not as severe ! i have put new plugs points and had carb cleaned . what do u thinks the deal ?
