    got screwed new boater help

    I bought a 1990 reinell was told it was a great boat and water ready(not). Engine is a Volvo penta 4.3 efi 6 cyl , out drive is a omc cobra . My trouble is shifting engaging and disengaging. Can not figure out how to drop engine speed to shift properly. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks...
