    taking apart a 1977 4hp johnson lower unit

    The lower unit on my 1977 4hp johnson, model 4r77, is siezed up. There is a locking nut, i think, there at the end by the prop. Does the spin off, and is so does it turn CW or CCW? Thanks, Gary
