I bought the minnkota MK-2-DC because of the Alternator feature that charges tripping battery while engine is running but read it needs 25 amps from engine Alternator . I have a 40hp mercury will it suffice. Also for 150 bucks are there better alternatives.
I used some aluminum epoxy on the bad spots mostly the engine nuts and tow eyes do I need to worry about replacing it any time soon? Here are some links to pics below

I have a 1998 40hp mercury outboard deep-v 17ft tracker. How should I adjust it while breaking plane for maximum efficiency and after breaking plane do I raise motor a little/how much?:facepalm: I never knew I was supposed to touch trim while driving I always kept it all the way...
I was under assumption i was supposed to come to stop release anchor until it hits floor give some extra rope for slack then tie it off to bow and reverse boat until jerked forward going :facepalm:slow of coarse
should I buy a powerstation with those portable jumpers or just buy a receptacle to connect straight to the trolling motor battery for electricity for my cappicino machine/electric skillet. any thoughts
