    starting a 92 40hp merc has it got a choke?

    well ive got a 92 jet 40 outboared i got it from a mate it hasnt been run in 6 months. has it got a choke? also whats the starting procedure, i used the fuel had pump thing, then used the primer on the top of the cowling then just pulled, gave up after 10 attempts. any tips?

    as above ive fell in love with my mates similar sized tinny with center cab and want to do the same. cheers guys
